What do you charge to retain the date?
From 25%-50% of the price- depending upon the size of the event, we request the balance to be paid upon arrival.  Cash or Money Orders, we also take credit cards online. We do accept personal check, but must be received  (1) one week prior to the event.

What time do you arrive for setup? 
One (1) hour prior to the event. In most cases sooner depending on the size of the venue, and whether a major set-up is required.

Do you charge extra for travel? 
OBMDI Entertainment will travel up to 50 miles from Los Angeles Metropolitan Area at no extra charge. Rates for travel outside the L.A. County area varies, depending upon destination. For an example, we have performed in the San Diego and San Francisco and only charge a travel fee of $250.00.

Will you emcee the event?
It would be our pleasure to make all the necessary announcements to keep your guest informed of the upcoming festivities.

Will you attend a wedding / reception rehearsal?
Unless requested, we usually do not attend. If requested we charge $100 for a basic
set-up, up to 2 hours. If the event is more than 50 miles from the Los Angeles Metropolitan, there may be an extra charge.

Do you provide a Demo Video or Mixtape?
No, we don't. We tailor every performance to your event. We do have music mixes in our listening room. We are always updating our Listening room. We recommend you take a look at our “Thank You” page, or inquire with us for more references. When an event is happening, we suggest you come to a live preview.

Do you take request?
Certainly! As long as the request is appropriate for the event. We don't play explicit/album lyrics at any event (unless requested). We use radio version edited music and common sense.

Do you display any type of advertising at your event? 
Never! If people want to use our services, they can either; 1) ask for a business card, or 2) ask you how to reach us.

What type of equipment do you use?
We use only professional D.J. equipment. Our equipment is serviced and maintained regularly to ensure a smooth performance, and presented in attractive, professional cases.

How do you dress?
Because most events are formal, we dress accordingly. However, if you have a themed event, we will be happy to dress according to the theme.

What type of music do you play?

We cover a huge range of musical tastes and genres, from old time music through, chart and pop to Dance and Trance music. We carry music from 1920 - 2007. Covering all the common categories such as; Easy Listening, Background, Dinner, Rock, Soft Rock, Metal, Heavy Metal, Reggae, Swing, Ballroom, Country, Latin, European, Scottish, Irish, Pop, Dance, Club, Trance, House, Hard House, Children's and various other specific taste categories

How many people attend the event with you?
Normally just one D.J./emcee. Unless the event exceeds 300 guest , we may have an assistant.

Do you take breaks?

Not on your time. Unlike live musicians who need a rest our services are continuous throughout the time frame of your event.
